This business began in 2024, but the roots go way back—to childhood weekends spent helping my dad fix up houses, learning tools by feel, and discovering early on that building things with your hands builds something in your soul too.

I work on homes—my own and others’—with over 25 years of hands-on experience. From small fixes to full-scale transformations, I do it all. I can take down walls or build new ones, hang drywall, install with precision, frame rough structures or craft the fine details that finish a space. I live in that space between function and form—where every nail, board, and cut matters.

I’ve always chased the intersection of creativity and craft. For over two decades, I worked in the world of 3D design—creating for film, products, and experiences. It was imaginative work, technical and beautiful. But eventually, I felt the pull to bring that same care into the real world—into homes, into wood and nails and paint. So I picked up the tools again and haven’t looked back.

Red Dog Renovation is where design meets dust. I believe home repairs and renovations should be thoughtful, well-made, and built to last. I’m not just here to fix a broken door—I’m here to help you love your space again. Whether it’s a tricky repair, custom carpentry, or a full creative build, I bring care, curiosity, and follow-through.

I call myself a handy craftsman—someone who blends the practicality of a handyman with the soul of an artist. I’m always learning, always adapting, and always aiming to leave you with work I’d be proud to have in my own home.

A bit about me outside the toolbelt: I live just south of Nashville with my wife, who is my high school sweetheart, and our three incredible kids. We love movies, hiking in the mountains, backyard pool days, and exploring the beauty in everyday life. I also roast my own coffee and share it with anyone who visits.

And the name? Red Dog comes from Captain—my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. He’s loyal, eager to work, attentive, and unshakably kind. When I thought about the kind of brand I wanted to build, he came to mind immediately. The logo, the look, the values—they all stem from the qualities I see in him.
